Research Activities

During my undergraduate studies I have completed assignments related to Hendra & Nipah viruses and Human papillomavirus. I also completed an assignment on the various PCR techniques used to diagnose viral infection.

I also completed a discussion paper for presentation at the G200 Youth Forum in Germany titled "Vaccine Policy and Bioethics in Relation to Vaccine Preventable Diseases" which discussed the policy and bioethics of mandatory vaccination in Australia and the United States of America arguing that there is no scientific, ethical or legal reason to allow non-medical exemptions to vaccination for vaccine preventable diseases.
